本節目以人類「接受挑戰」的本能因子，挑戰智力、體力、毅力、反應力之極限為出發點，同時兼顧益智娛樂性，並輔以高額獎金來吸引一般觀眾的報名，不但可以滿足觀眾求知的新鮮感，冷酷無情的淘汰制度及高額獎金更能帶出觀眾患得患失的刺激感。
節目主持人為羅志祥(小豬)、郭世綸、申東靖、麻衣、愛紗及瑤瑤，皆為新生代具清新、活力之綜藝節目主持人，節目以「辣妹生存巴士」邀請各行各業之挑戰者，搭上「生存巴士」通過包羅萬象、趣味橫生之遊戲關卡，如「攀岩」、「過火圈」、「恐怖大餐」等藉由淘汰方式產生勝利者。
