就如同之前的豪华版一样，这一次由于地点的扩大，也提供了更多的武器与物品供玩家使用，前作游戏中武器有17种，车辆有10种，连服装都有四种，这一次当然有更多的物品与武器供玩家使用，而且这些物品也开始使用真实的物品模型，也因使这次除了环境真实外，物品也更加真实。而且各种武器也有了真实的射击效果，不过玩家不需担心这么多的武器与物品很难操作，前一代豪华版提供的简易武器瞄准画面这一代仍然存在，而且更加已改良，同时操控同队队员的接口也更加简化，游戏中玩家同样可以很容易切换视角，不过这款游戏比较类似战术模拟类的游戏，因此这款游戏可是很着重战术和策略的应用，游戏也同样提供更加简易的战术操作方式，同时配合热键，玩家将发觉操控整个小队比以前更容易简单。

整个游戏的基本画面是自斜45度角上方俯瞰全部的战场。这个角度，会让玩家在进行游戏时，有著一种身处之內却又超乎其外的感受。刚开始虽然只有拳头和火神砲等的简易装备，但是持续使用之下可以有两阶段的升级，而满足一定的条件之后，更可以开发出高阶的武器！不过，武器不是说开发就可以开发的。如何有效的凑齐强力武器的开发因素，这也是玩家功力的一种表现唷。武器不但可以升级，升等之后的等级更可以继承，当玩家过关之后重头再玩，只要读取过关后的存档，在下一轮游戏中仍旧可以用到威力提昇过的武器。重复锻链下来，开发出所有武器，填满整个武器的一览表，並且全部练到MASTER！的梦幻画面，也不会是遥不可及了。
在未来世界中，电脑本身也有自我成长能力，而人类也分成三个派系以不同的信念来战斗…
由说什么TGL推出的最新作《机甲战线》，在游戏中玩家将会扮演塞尔杰－卡克兰德一位年轻士官，由俄国地区转任至中南美洲，他们利用双足步行机动兵器HAWS进行战斗，游戏本身可透过过关或研发获得新武器，当中更少不了一班美少女陪伴你左右，游戏也预定11月19日推出。
